Opportunity of the week...
Greene & Heaton runs a full-time, paid internship programme (minimum wage). Intern responsibilities include, administrative support to the agents as well as working on foreign rights, maintaining the website, Twitter feed and internal databases. Applicants should be passionate about books and associated media, and happy to get involved with all aspects of assisting a busy literary and media agency.

Duncan Petersen Publishing (based in Battersea) is looking for a recent year graduate to run its successful hotels website as Web Editor. This is a paid (freelance) post, 32 hours a week minimum, and you get on-the-job training. The work includes: collecting subscriptions, credit control and maintaining relations with the hotels, selling space on the site to hotels already in the Charming Small Hotel Guides, editing the site: keeping the home page fresh and updating pages. Writing new pages, Managing the promotional tools, promoting hotels on social media, liaising with the outside web design team, record keeping and data input.

Duncan Petersen Publishing is looking for a recent graduate, capable of learning on the job, to take on the role as Print Editor. The job includes proofreading, editing, writing, use of design software to create pages, making ebooks and some administrative work. This a full-time, paid on a freelance basis role. Applicants must have a good arts degree and an exceptionally high standard of written and spoken English. Portfolio of writing an advantage.
